Data Safe Zone's software falls into two categories:
1.) RBS - Remote Backups Software
2.) Near CDP - Near Continuos Data Protection
RBS - The majority of Data Safe Zone clients are safely protected with our RBS software. RBS software allows you to backup your files to our secure data center daily. You can choose when the backup executes and you can backup your files up by choosing which directories to backup or have the system backup selected filetypes (i.e. backup all .doc files no matter what directories they are located in) or a combination of both.
If you have multiple computers you wish to backup you will need a software license for each machine however we recognize the need to be fiscally responsible in this day and age and you only need one data plan no matter how many machines you need.
Have more then 5 machines? Talk to one of our data specialists about the benefits and cost savings to having your own on-site backup server + an offiste backup server for double the redunancy. Most customers with more then 5 computers actually save money every month with this option!

Near CDP - Near CDP is the next level of data protection from Data Safe Zone. Our near CDP software takes software backups to the next level. It is designed to run on Linux or Windows servers with a dedicated IP address and allows you to backup your server, at the disk level with a backup schedule and retention schedule custom designed for your needs.
What does that mean in English and where does the CDP come in?
Good question! This backup is made at the disk level which means that it backs up the entire drive and is very similar to taking an image of the drive. So we can actually restore your operating system and all data including your software from these backups. If your server crashes you won't need to reinstall your OS, and your software and then recreate your settings before you restore your data, we can restore all your data during a bare-metal restore.
It is near continous data protection because we can create a backup schedule that backs up as frequently as you need, up to once every 5 minutes! Furthermore we can create a custom retention schedule to meet your needs....whether you need to keep the last 2 or the last 200 backup points.
Backing up many servers? We can place a CDP server in your office for faster backups, and then backup that server to our secure data center. This allows you to have faster backup and restores while doubling your data protection!
